PS5 Storage Problems Are About To Get A Lot Worse

Not having enough storage for games is a common complaint among gamers nowadays, and the PlayStation 5's storage problems may be about to get even worse, specifically for the digital edition of the console that does not come with a disc drive. Soon, some PS5 owners may have even less space to store their games and other media.

According to leaker billbil-kun from Dealabs, PlayStation is allegedly decreasing the storage capacity of the digital version of the PS5 Slim to 825 GB instead of the current 1 TB. The change, as of right now, is only aimed at an updated European PS5 Slim model (via VGC). This information has not been verified by Sony or PlayStation yet.

The revised PS5 slim model with less storage will reportedly go on sale on September 13, and it will be the same price as the current digital-only PS5 Slim that offers 1 TB of storage, €499. The new reduced storage amount is also reportedly viewable on the updated PS5 Slim Digital Edition packaging.

The standard edition of the PS5 Slim (the one with the disc drive) will still have 1 TB of storage, reportedly....
