Stellar Blade was always going to be a popular game for modders, for reasons. Despite the game's director, Kim Hyung-tae, saying that "official content is better", the game was bombarded with mods from the moment its beta began. Naturally, many of these mods were more adult in nature, and within a few hours, the game broke Nier Automata's modding record.
It won't be too surprising to find out then, that out of all of the games that have been released in 2025 so far, Stellar Blade players have downloaded the second most mods, despite only being out for three months.
In just three months, players have taken to Nexus Mods to download Stellar Blade mods 19.8 million times. Unsurprisingly, the three most-downloaded mods are all adult in nature, with YoRHa Unofficial Ceremonial Attire being downloaded 418,000 times, Eve with no Clothes on 390,000 times, and XXTB Eve, 307,000 times. The next two, which add new eye colors and make-up, and a new head, have been downloaded 299,000 and 294,000 times, respectively. Adult mods dominate the rest of the top ten.
