LEGO has officially unveiled its most expensive set to date: the new Star Wars Death Star. It not only comes with 38 minifigures and more than 9,000 pieces for enthusiasts to assemble, but the latest LEGO set also has tons of hidden features and references. Unfortunately, as the biggest LEGO Star Wars model ever, it comes with a hefty price tag. Those in the US will need to fork out $999.99, while UK buyers can pick up the set for £899.99.
The new Death Star set is just the latest Star Wars-themed collectible from LEGO, but it's officially the biggest and most expensive one to date. With that being said, it's not the first ridiculously priced item to come from the company. Back in 2017, LEGO revealed the 7,500-piece Millennium Falcon, which currently retails for $850 on the LEGO website. The set was once LEGO's biggest model ever, featuring tons of different internal sections for fans to recreate some of their favorite scenes. But that record has now been taken by the new Death Star set.
