Twitter user HIGO_Mario_Fan and other social media users are uncovering a glitch where NPCs populating Mario Kart World's open world leave their cars - only for other characters to suddenly climb inside and drive away. This is shown when a Toad leaves his car parked, then a Shy Guy steals it as the player can do little but watch.
Such casual acts of criminal mischief are virtually unheard of in the wholesome world of the Mushroom Kingdom, but are par for the course in Grand Theft Auto.
