Assassin's Creed Shadows' first expansion, Claws of Awaji, has released, and fans don't seem too pleased.

Claws of Awaji currently sits at a 'Mostly Negative' review score on Steam after approximately 250 reviews. The expansion has been criticised for its short length, for shipping in a buggy state and for a lack of features that differentiate it from the base game.

"10+ hours of content," one review reads, sarcastically. "Completed the story within 3 hours, 4 new armours, 4 new weapons — that's it. You don't get anything else, not worth getting this 'DLC'. This should've been free, in my opinion."

A few people have complained that they can't start the DLC, but this could just be user error. Claws of Awaji is only accessible after the player finishes Yasuke, Naoe and Junjiro's stories. The expansion is set on the island of Awaji in Osaka Bay, where Yasuke and Naoe travel to find a hidden treasure.
