Hyrule Warriors: Age of Imprisonment has just announced a pair of neat bonus items ahead of its winter launch, but not everyone will be able to get them. Another Hyrule Warriors game was announced during the Switch 2-centric Nintendo Direct in April, and it is set to release on November 6, 2025, just in time for the holiday season.
A new trailer for Hyrule Warriors: Age of Imprisonment was recently posted on the official Nintendo of America YouTube channel, revealing that players with save data for The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom and Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity will have access to the High Guard’s Sword and High Guard’s Claymore, respectively.
The drawback is that those who pick up Hyrule Warriors: Age of Imprisonment without save files for Tears of the Kingdom or Age of Calamity on their Nintendo Switch 2 consoles won’t be able to use these exclusive weapons. However, there is currently no indication that these weapons will have any benefits aside from cosmetics at this time.
