Nintendo Switch 2 Hits New Impressive Milestone In Japan

It’s very ironic to me that many people thought the Nintendo Switch 2 would be a “flop” at launch. I knew it wouldn’t, because people had been wanting the Switch 2 for a long time, and the only question was about what games we would get outside of Mario Kart World at launch. Since its release in early June, the console has been flying off the shelves all over the world, and that’s not looking to stop anytime soon. For proof of this, you need only look at Japan, which quickly sold out of the system at launch, and then passed a new milestone recently:

Japan bought quite a bit of the OG Switch during its lifecycle, and continues to sell well there today. However, the Nintendo Switch 2 is doing just as well, and that’s not even talking about the titles we KNOW will move units there and in the US over the next several months.
