The GO Tour is an event held in anticipation of Pokemon Day, the franchise's annual celebration. The first edition of the Pokemon GO Tour took place in 2021 and was dedicated entirely to the Kanto region. Because of this, the developers added shiny variants of all 151 original monsters and featured Articuno, Moltres, Zapdos, and Mewtwo in Legendary raids. Since then, the events have focused on four other regions, such as the fan-favorite Hoenn, bringing features and monsters for trainers to catch.
