Crash Bandicoot 4: It's About Time will release on new platforms next month.

In a press release from Activision, it was announced that Crash Bandicoot 4 will soon be releasing for the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S, as well as the Nintendo Switch and PC through BATTLE.NET. The game will reach these new platforms on March 12th. On the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S, Crash Bandicoot 4 will run in 4K at 60 fps. The next-gen versions of the game will experience faster load times, as well as 3D audio. Those who have already purchased the title on the PlayStation 4 or Xbox One will be able to receive a next-gen upgrade within the same console family. There will be the ability to transfer save data as well.

Activision also revealed that the PlayStation 5 version of Crash Bandicoot 4 will take advantage of some of the console's features. The game will make use of the DualSense's adaptive triggers. The title will also use the PlayStation 5's Activity Card feature that will give player a clear breakdown of their progress, helping to provide guidance to achieve objectives and more.

Crash Bandicoot 4 released for last-gen consoles this past October. The game holds an OpenCritic Mighty Rating, as well as a Top Critic Average of 85. While the game is vey reminiscent of classic Crash Bandicoot titles, the game does feature a new mechanic: the four Quantum Masks. These masks allow players to slow down time, reverse gravity, and more. In addition to Crash and Coco, gamers are able to play as other characters, such as Dingodile and Tawna, each of whom have their own abilities and playstyles.

Crash Bandicoot 4: It's About Time is available now for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. The PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S versions of Crash Bandicoot 4 will cost $59.99, while the Switch and PC versions will run for $39.99.
