Resident Evil Requiem is Heading to The Nintendo Switch 2

Looks like Capcom is continuing its trend of supporting Nintendo’s consoles with the often rumored but now official announcement of Resident Evil Requiem, Resident Evil 7 Biohazard: Gold (RE7) and Resident Evil Village: Gold (RE8), are heading to the Nintendo Switch 2.

Resident Evil 7 biohazard Gold Edition will also release on Nintendo Switch 2, including the full game, the “Not a Hero” chapter, and all additional DLC. Resident Evil Village Gold Edition will also be available featuring the Winters’ Expansion and the Trauma Pack.

All these of these survival horror titles will be released onto the Nintendo Switch on February 27, 2026. For those paying attention to Resident Evil Requiem already, you’ll notice that this means the games will be released at the same time that Resident Evil Requiem is also being released for the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. Yet, that means no delay for the Nintendo Switch 2 version.
