GTA 6 Online Basically Confirmed After Latest Rockstar Announcement

As we careen toward the May 26 release of GTA 6, Rockstar is making moves that seem to be hinting toward an evolved version of GTA Online. While Rockstar has remained relatively quiet about how GTA 6 could upend the world of Grand Theft Auto Online, the service has remained a key moneymaker for the publisher since 2013.

Breaking the news themselves on X, Rockstar has confirmed that the company is "excited to support the nopixel team as they create the future of GTA RP [roleplay]." On nopixel's end, they unveiled nopixel V, the "next evolution of the GTAV Roleplay Experience, created in collaboration with Rockstar Games." The partnership is set to arrive on the Rockstar Games Launcher "and other PC platforms" in the future.

So what does this all mean? Basically, nopixel has been carrying GTA 5 on streaming for many years, and is instrumental in the rise of GTA RP, or simply, Grand Theft Auto Roleplay.
