Wolverine's new trailer from yesterday's State of Play is already being compared to the leaks we got last year after Insomniac Games was hacked.
It's a little wild to think that Marvel's Wolverine was announced more than four years ago and that, up until last night, all we'd officially seen from the game was a single cinematic teaser. Unofficially, though, we saw far more of Wolverine than we were meant to, as plenty of pre-alpha gameplay footage was leaked as part of Insomniac's massive hack.
The Insomniac hack resulted in hours worth of footage from Wolverine leaking online, which caused a lot of players to express disappointment with how unfinished it looked. That was, of course, because it was unfinished, something that the latest trailer for the game proves without a shadow of a doubt.
Over on the InsomniacLeaks subreddit, Redditor danoka29 took the new trailer for Wolverine that was shown at last night's State of Play and tried to compare it as closely as possible to the footage that was revealed in the leaks.
