Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 1 + 2 will be reaching new platforms later this year.

It has been announced that Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 1 + 2 will release for the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and Nintendo Switch later this year. According to Activision, the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S versions of the game will release on March 26th. The Switch edition of the game does not have a release date at the moment. The next-gen console versions of the games will support 120 fps at 1080p or 60 fps at 4K. The PlayStation 5 version of Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 1 + 2 will support the DualSense's haptic feedback feature.

Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 1 + 2 will support a next-gen upgrade for those who already own the game digitally. However, this only seems to be the case for the Digital Deluxe Edition. Standard edition owners can upgrade to the Cross-Gen Deluxe Bundle, which will include access to the secret skater Ripper, retro gear for Create-A-Skater, and retro skins for Tony Hawk, Steve Caballero, and Rodney Mullen. The next-gen version of the title will run for $49.99, and will come with all the perks of the Digital Deluxe Edition.

Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 1 + 2 released in September of last year. The title included all of the skaters that were featured in the original versions of the games, and also included new faces such as Lizzie Armanto, Leo Baker, and Leticia Bufoni. All of the levels and tricks from the original games made their way into the remakes as well. Most of the original soundtracks were included in the remasters, though some songs had to be cut. All of the original modes were included as well, along with upgraded versions of Create-A-Park and Create-A-Skater. There are also a number of multiplayer modes for those that want to compete against others.

Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 1 + 2 is available now for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox one. The PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S versions of the games will release next month. There is no word on when to expect the Nintendo Switch version.
