Fittingly at the Tokyo Game Show on Thursday, Xbox announced that Forza Horizon 6's open world will take place in the beautiful country of Japan. Not too many details have been shared about the project, but we do have an estimated release year for the title. It is developed by Playground Games, which is also working on the Fable reboot.
Japan is Finally a Setting in Forza Horizon 6
The much-requested location by fans is finally being added for the sixth entry of the beloved Forza Horizon series. “Japan has such a unique culture – from cars, to music, to fashion – that make it perfect for the next Horizon setting," said the game's art director Don Arceta to Xbox Wire. "As with any Horizon title, we want to make sure we do the country justice in terms of authentic representation and Horizon open world playability – and now is the right time to realize that fully for players.”
