Gran Turismo 7 Spec III Update Will be Biggest Yet

During the Sony State of Play for September, Kazunori Yamauchi appeared in a video featuring Gran Turismo 7 to announce the Spec III update. The series dating back to Gran Turismo Sport has mostly had monthly updates, but when a Spec release comes, its quite major. The Spec II release came a few short months after release, and that original release date is slowly approaching the three-year anniversary. The game had previously featured officially licensed tires from Michelin, and with this update, will be transitioning over to Dunlop tires. There is some other major content being released with this, and it's not any minivans.

New Iconic Cars and Iconic Circuits

Gran Turismo 7 Spec III will include eight new vehicles and two new circuits along with a data logger feature and more. One of these cars are quite the surprise with it being so popular and modern, while the others are high-performance vehicles. The two circuits being added are Yas Marina and Circuit de Villeneuve in Montreal, both of which are official Formula One circuits on the calendar. Four of the cars are known based on the trailer, while the other four remain a mystery.
