Shared on social media on Friday on the official Splatoon North America X page, Splatoween is officially on the way as Splatoon 3 celebrates the Halloween season, starting next month. There will be three teams to choose from: Zombie, Skeleton, and Ghost. The pick is based on which creature you'd like to be friends with the most. Those who grew up in the 90s may pick the Ghost because Casper is adorable.
An Adorable Halloween Event Awaits
Nintendo confirmed on X that the event will take place between October 24 at 6 pm PT through Oct 26 at 6 pm Pacific Time. You can pick between the Zombie, Skeleton, and Ghost and contribute points based on your performance. It will all be tallied up, and a winner will be announced shortly after October 26.
Additionally, the Splatoon 3 North American League is taking place over this weekend, starting Friday at 10 pm PT. The Top 8 teams will be livestreamed on Nintendo's official channels, like Twitch, on Saturday at 12 pm PT. The Sunday Scrim then concludes the event this weekend at 12 pm PT.
