Game Rant can exclusively reveal a new trailer for Ember and Blade, and confirm the release date for its next demo. The playable build of LINE Games' upcoming action RPG will launch just ahead of the October 2025 edition of Steam Next Fest.

Founded in 2012, LINE Games is a LINE Yahoo subsidiary based out of Seoul. To date, the South Korean developer-publisher has released a handful of titles, including roguelike ARPG Next Hero and visual novel Buried Stars, launched in 2018 and 2021, respectively. The company's next project, Ember and Blade, is described as a "survivors-like" experience combining real-time combat, cel-shaded visuals, and an elaborate storyline intertwined with meta progression mechanics. In this respect, it appears somewhat reminiscent of Hades, albeit with a different progression loop: instead of Hades's room-by-room Boon selections, Ember and Blade mixes mob wave pressure with angel "blessings" and skill combos granted mid-run.
