Deus Ex Remastered's PC system requirements are officially out, and they are high enough to have completely blindsided some fans, sparking everything from shock to outright ridicule. As things currently stand, Deus Ex Remastered will insist on a significantly beefier rig than the convincingly best-looking entry in the franchise.
A modernized version of the first Deus Ex was officially announced during the latest PlayStation Showcase. The September 24 event yielded a brief teaser trailer showcasing some of the game's graphical improvements and confirming Aspyr Media as the developer handling the remaster.

The recommended specs include 16GB RAM, a high-end CPU no older than five years, and either the GeForce RTX 2080 or Radeon RX 6750, GPUs that have 8GB and 12GB VRAM, respectively. Some fans are calling this a "joke," especially given how polarizing the remaster's graphics are proving to be. While undoubtedly higher-res than the original, the modernized game has drawn criticism for eerily smooth character models and overly shiny surfaces, with some social media users going as far as calling it flat-out...
