Gameloft has shared the patch notes for the upcoming October 1 update for Disney Dreamlight Valley. The life sim adventure title launched in 2023 to general critical success, even taking home several game industry awards. Nearly two years later, Disney Dreamlight Valley continues to attract a healthy player base, thanks to regular content updates, contests, and crossovers.
There have been a couple of exciting additions to the game in recent months. In August, Disney Dreamlight Valley revealed a new Companion in the form of a pink Eastern-style dragon with a cherry blossom motif, which was selected by community members. That same month, the game added a new realm, the Headquarters from Disney Pixar’s animated film Inside Out, along with the characters Joy and Sadness.
The next update for Disney Dreamlight Valley releases on October 1 and will bring players back to Beast’s Castle. Just in time for the spooky season, the free content will feature Cogsworth and Lumiere trying to figure out the cause of some eerie happenings around the place.
