Following the launch of Monster Hunter Wilds Title Update 3, Capcom released the patch notes for all players to peruse. The third title update for Monster Hunter Wilds is highlighted by a special collaboration event with Final Fantasy 14, culminating in a battle against the robotic Omega Planetes.
The new crossover is the second time that Final Fantasy 14 and the Monster Hunter franchise have teamed up, with the first being a Monster Hunter Worldevent during FF14's Stormblood expansion. This crossover between FF14 and Monster Hunter Wilds is highlighted by a quest to face Omega Planetes, based on a notorious superboss from the Final Fantasy franchise. Actions from Final Fantasy 14's Dark Knight and Pictomancer Jobs can be utilized to make the battle against Omega Planetes a bit easier. However, challenging Omega Planetes requires Monster Hunter Wilds players to reach Hunter Rank (HR) 41 or higher.
While the Final Fantasy 14 collaboration will be a permanent part of Monster Hunter Wilds, there are more features with Title Update 3 for players to experience.
