The original Pac-Man World series was a sixth-generation hit that saw three 3D platformers hit the market and manage to stand out in a crowded field thanks to expanding on the Pac-Man universe and put the legendary gaming mascot in a new style of adventure. In the PS1 era, we saw Pac-Man and Ms. Pac-Man get into maze-related craziness with some 3D elements, but the PS2 era allowed the characters flourish in 3D with games that held up well over time. The original Pac-Man World got a Re-PAC in 2022 and was a ton of fun. It retained a lot of what made the original game work while vastly improving the graphics and we're seeing the same hold true for the sequel. Pac-Man World 2 Re-Pac offers a healthy amount of improvements to the original sixth-generation release, while fortifying the foundation with the smoother gameplay of Re-Pac.
