Xbox Game Pass has added Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light to its content catalog. This is the 14th and final title to reach the service in September 2025, as well as the 122nd new Xbox Game Pass release since the start of the year.
Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light is a 2010 isometric action adventure that marked several firsts for the long-running franchise. It's the first series entry to drop the Tomb Raider name, the first to offer co-op, and the first to have been treated to a digital-only release. The game was developed by Crystal Dynamics and initially published by Square Enix, its parent company at the time. Nowadays, it's published by its original creators, following Crystal Dynamics' sale to Embracer and the subsequent wrestling for Tomb Raider rights.
