A new Pokemon TCG chart is showing the most expensive cards from the Mega Evolution expansion, with a pair of extremely rare cards worth over $400. Mega Evolution has brought a plethora of changes to the game for both players and collectors, with the return of Mega Pokemon serving as one of the biggest changes in the set. The Pokemon TCG also introduced a brand-new rarity to the game with the set's release, adding two new cards in the "Mega Hyper Rare" rarity. Now, some of those cards are boasting some exorbitant prices.
Mega Evolution came with a plethora of high-profile cards for players to collect, including some stunning new Special Illustration Rare cards. Six of the ten new Mega Pokemon received their own Special Illustration Rare versions within the expansion, featuring fan-favorites like Mega Absol and Mega Venusaur. The introduction of Mega Hyper Rare also saw the set's two cover Pokemon receive impressive gold versions, debuting Mega Hyper Rare cards for Mega Gardevoir and Mega Lucario. Some of the Pokemon TCG's newest cards now command some high price tags.
