The Hairy and Scary update for Grounded 2 is now live for all players, bringing with it a terrifying new challenge, more building tools, and a laundry list of improvements and bug fixes. Currently in its early access period, Grounded 2 has been a huge hit for Obsidian Entertainment, and the newest patch is only one of many planned for the title as it works its way towards a full 1.0 release.
Following its highly anticipated release in late July, Grounded 2 quickly climbed the Xbox Game Pass charts, sitting alongside heavy hitters like Fortnite, Minecraft, Grand Theft Auto 5, and Rocket League on the service's top ten most played games list. Much like the original 2020 title, Grounded 2 follows a group of children who find themselves shrunk down to the size of bugs, but this time, they are in a vast public park rather than a small backyard. While gathering resources, crafting weapons and armor, and facing off against frightening insects, the kids attempt to find a way to return to their normal size. Now, a new update from Obsidian provides even more dynamic gameplay, along with a horrifying new beast waiting in the midst.
