Genshin Impact's next update will include a special festival event.
On the PlayStation Blog, details for Genshin Impact's upcoming 1.4 update were released. The update will be released on March 17th. The main feature for the update will be the Windblume Festival. Those who are at Adventure Rank 20 or above and have completed the Archon Quest "Song of the Dragon and Freedom" will be invited to the Windblume Festival. During the Festival, there will be mini-games to play with a number of rewards and prizes. Gamers will also have the chance to hang out with Barbara, Noelle, Bennett, and Chongyun, with the opportunity to experience different endings and memories depending on player choices.
During the Windblume Festival, there will be mini-games that will test player's skills. The games will support both single-player and co-op mode. There will be three mini-games, each of which will have four different difficulty levels. Completing the games grants rewards and Festive Tour Tickets, which can be exchanged at the Event Shop for Talent Level-Up Materials. They can also be traded in for two new exclusive gadgets: the Windblume Festival Commemorative Balloon and the Windsong Lyre.
Those who want a tougher challenge can try the Peculiar Wonderland. The Peculiar Wonderland is a series of challenges that will demand mind and muscle from players. Gamers will face three random challenge scenarios, and will be able to gain buffs to use in a final boss battle. Completing the Peculiar Wonderland will grant Peculiar Collab Coupons, which can be exchanged for Weapon Ascension Materials and a new bow, the Windblume Ode.
Genshin Impact's 1.4 update will also add a new 4-star playable character: Rosaria. Rosaria bears a Cryo Vision, and is a powerful polearm wielder with an Elemental Skill that allows her to instantly shift behind enemies. Her Elemental Burst has her attack with a mighty slash, dealing massive Cryo damage. It also summons an Ice Lance that deals continuous Cryo damage to nearby enemies.
Genshin Impact is available now for PC, PlayStation 4, and mobile devices.
