Overwatch 2 Releases New Stadium Update for October 2025

Overwatch 2 just put out a small Stadium update featuring hero balance adjustments to Freja, Tracer, and Brigitte, plus adjustments to how Ranked Stadium Points are gained or lost. This new update is live in Overwatch 2 right now, and is likely to be the last of its kind before Season 19 begins.

On September 16, Overwatch 2 released its mid-Season 18 update, featuring a slew of balance adjustments and new content, including the arrival of Tracer in Stadium. Unfortunately, the time-skipping damage hero broke the game in short order, causing her to become disabled for the better part of a week before Overwatch 2 resolved Tracer’s glitch and brought her back to the game mode.

Now, Overwatch 2 has released another small update to fix a few other problems in Stadium. The main part of this patch came in hero balance changes for Freja, Tracer, and Brigitte. Freja received buffs to five of her Powers to help improve her win rate, while Brigitte had the damage of her Shield Boomerang Power reduced.
