As of October 14, Capcom can't make any promises as to whether Monster Hunter Wilds, Rise, or World will still be supported on Windows 10 devices. How can they, really? Windows 10 support itself is ending. There's no reason to think the games will just up and explode at that date, but it's a blank future moving forward.

The decision has thus been made to get it all out there straight away: anything that Capcom adds to its stable of Monster Hunter titles, be it a big update for Wilds or something tiny and technical for its predecessors, is in no way guaranteed not to cause problems for folks who haven't upgraded to Windows 11. Furthermore, if problems do arise, well, they can't help ya.

It's prompting at least one lawsuit, but Windows 10, as with all Microsoft operating systems in due time, is coming to a close on October 14, 2025. You can still run it, of course, but it'll be "obsolete" - no more security updates, nor anything else of note.
