EA Sports College Football 26 has released its latest update for October 2025, which includes some overall changes to gameplay and the addition of head-to-head ranked play in Ultimate Team mode. The new ranked system is being included in College Football 26 to reward players looking for a more competitive football experience, and it will allow them to climb their way through more than 20 tiers to reach the top.
Much like the game mode of the same name in other EA Sports franchises, EA added Ultimate Team to College Football 25 last year as the franchise broke out from more than a decade of dormancy.
