Xbox Game Pass Ultimate has added Keeper to its content catalog. The surreal-looking adventure is the 56th new title to reach the subscription service in October 2025, as well as the 178th Xbox Game Pass Ultimate release since the beginning of the year.

The latest project from Psychonauts developer and Microsoft subsidiary Double Fine Productions, Keeper was officially announced during the latest Xbox Games Showcase. The June 2025 event introduced it as a third-person adventure in a post-apocalyptic setting that tells a comforting tale of companionship with no words. It stars an unlikely duo of a pelican-like bird and a long-dormant lighthouse that mysteriously comes to life and grows legs.

Keeper's surreal world and speculative biology can be experienced beginning today, October 17, with the trippy title now available on the Xbox Series X/S, PC, and Xbox Game Pass. As with other day-one launches, Double Fine's newest release is limited to the PC and Ultimate tiers of Microsoft's subscription service. Keeper can also be streamed via Xbox Cloud Gaming in countries where the cloud platform is available.
