A new Dragon Ball game is set to be unveiled at a special event in January 2026, adding another option for players who can't get enough of Goku and his friends. There are already a wide variety of actively updated Dragon Ball games across consoles, PC, and mobile devices, but it sounds like another entry will be joining their ranks soon.
When Dragon Ball: Sparking Zero was released in October 2024, it revived and improved the historic Budokai Tenkaichi fighting game series, which had enjoyed considerable popularity in the early 2000s. It certainly wasn't alone in the market, however, as fellow fighting game Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 and action RPG Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot were and are still very much alive, as both have received updates within the past couple of days. Bandai Namco also has a mix of mobile Dragon Ball games on offer, including Dragon Ball Legends, Dragon Ball Gekishin Squadra, and Dragon Ball Z Dokkan Battle.
