The Silent Hill 2 remake has sold over 2.5 million units, accounting for nearly 25% of the franchise's total sales. Developed by Bloober Team and published by Konami in 2024, the remake of Silent Hill 2 quickly became one of the fastest-selling installments in the franchise ever.
Of course, the remake of Silent Hill 2 was later dethroned by Silent Hill f, which sold one million copies slightly faster. Still, both games have become some of the most prominent and popular entries in the series, with the former breaking yet another record nearly a year after its successful launch.
Celebrating the franchise's latest milestone, Konami announced that Silent Hill video games have sold over ten million copies in total, with nearly 2.5 million of those coming from the Silent Hill 2 remake. This is a remarkable achievement for developer Bloober Team, which is currently working on four upcoming games, including Star Trek: Infection. The studio also released Cronos: The New Dawn this year, which achieved both commercial and critical success and currently holds a Very Positive rating on Steam.
