This weekend's Xbox Free Play Days titles have been announced.

On the Xbox Wire, it was announced that this weekend's Free Play Days event will begin today, March 11th, and will run through March 14th. The first game that will be free this weekend is Stellaris: Console Edition. In Stellaris, players will reach for the stars and reign over them. They will discover the mysteries of the galaxy, expand their space-faring civilization, and try to rule the cosmos. All of this is within the hands of players and their thumbsticks.

The second game that will be a part of Free Play Days this weekend is Cities: Skylines. In this award-winning city management simulator, gamers will create a bustling metropolis. They will start with a single plot of land, and build and manage a complex series of systems while trying to keep their citizens happy while balancing their budget. Players will able to build a city that never sleeps, a sprawling suburban community, or the small town of their dreams. The choice is up to them.

For those who want to play Stellaris and Cities: Skylines after the Free Play Days event can do so at a discount. For Stellaris, both the Standard and Deluxe Editions of the game will be 67% off. The Standard and Mayor's Editions of Cities: Skylines will be 75% off. The Cities: Skylines and Surviving Mars bundle will be 75% off as well.

Xbox Free Play Days events are for Xbox Live Gold and Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscribers. All points earned and DLC purchased during the weekend will carry over for those who decide to purchase any of the games that are featured during a Free Play Days event. Players also get the chance to try out the multiplayer for any of the games featured during these events that have such modes.

I have been playing video games for as long as I can remember. I am a huge fan of JRPGs, though I also enjoy fighters. I have been writing about video games for a few years now. If it has a great story, I am sure that I will dig it.
