Battlefield 6 has recently sparked a wave of criticism among players for a controversial update that resulted in much shorter matches for one of its most beloved gameplay modes. Fans spoke out on social media about the decision, voicing concerns that the update wasn't necessary and defeated the point of Conquest games entirely.

In a surprise reversal (via X), Battlefield 6 has officially walked back the reduction in ticket counts for Conquest maps and reverted them back to the original 1000, while also resetting time limits to the original 45 minutes.

In a move that took place just two days ago by Battlefield 6, developers updated the Conquest map settings in a move that completely baffled fans across the board. The decision decreased the total number of tickets across all Conquest maps to address supposed problems with matches ending due to time limits as opposed to a team running out of active tickets.

Shortly after announcing this Conquest ticket count rollback, Battlefield 6 also released a massive update (via X) to introduce changes to progression after player feedback.
