MCON was born when (then 19-year-old) Josh King was frustrated with the stagnation of mobile gaming and missing the freedom of handhelds. He designed a pocketable MagSafe controller and gained overwhelming support on YouTube. Rising costs stalled progress on bringing his invention to market, and Josh turned to fellow entrepreneur, Ohsnap Founder Dale Backus, for help.
