It has been announced that Undertale will soon be available on Xbox consoles.

On the Xbox Wire, it was announced that Undertale will finally be available on Xbox consoles. According to Microsoft, the game will launch on the Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S on March 16th. The game will be available on the console version of Xbox Game Pass, and will be available to purchase on the Microsoft store for Xbox. The game will cost $14.99, and will not support Xbox Play Anywhere.

The PC version Undertale has been available on the Microsoft Store for some time now. While the Xbox version will be very similar to the PC version of Undertale, there will be Xbox-specific enhancements designed to make the game more comfortable for those playing on a home console. Because of these enhancements, progress and save data between the Xbox and PC versions of the game will not be compatible. However, like previous console releases, the Xbox version of the RPG will have exclusive content to look out for.

Undertale is an RPG that features 16-bit visuals reminiscent of older RPGs, and features an incredibly catchy soundtrack. The game first released for PC in 2015. It then made its way to the PlayStation 4 in 2017, and to the Nintendo Switch in 2018. The game came to the PlayStation 5 last year. Every monster that players encounter is an individual, with every interaction being unique. Players can choose to fight or show mercy to their opponents. How they play and what they choose will ultimately decide the outcome of the game's story. Undertale celebrated its fifth anniversary this past September with a free concert that was streamed on YouTube (seen here).

Undertale is available now for PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and the Nintendo Switch. The game will soon be available on Xbox consoles.
