A trailer for Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout's fourth Season has dropped, giving us a starting date.
A new trailer has dropped for Fall Guys, and gives us a starting date for the game's fourth Season. Season 4 of Fall Guys will begin on March 22nd. The trailer also gives us a peek at the aesthetics of the upcoming Season. The Season will take place in the year 4041, with everything being accented by neon. We get a peek at some of the mini-games that gamers will be playing in Season 4, which include riffs on older games.
The end of the trailer also teased a crossover between Fall Guys and Among Us. The trailer shows a Bean in an Imposter suit get ejected and fall into a pool of lava. The trailer then states that "1 Imposter remains." Fall Guys developer Mediatonic told IGN that some of the new Among Us costumes will have "something unique" about them. The red costume will be available when Season 4 starts, and will be a part of the upcoming Season's Fame Path. The bottom half will be unlocked at rank 21, while the top half will be available at rank 26. Mediatonic teased that there will be multiple Among Us costumes, and that they will come with secrets and quirks for players to discover.
The Among Us costumes are not the only crossover costumes that have been released for Fall Guys. Last month, Cuphead and Mugman costumes were introduced into the game. There have also been costumes for DOOM, Sonic the Hedgehog, and Godzilla. However, these costumes were purely cosmetic.
Last month it was revealed that Fall Guys will be making its way over to the Nintendo Switch and Xbox consoles later this year. Other than a summer release window, no exact date for the new versions of the game were given. No pricing was given either. There was also no word on whether or not cross-platform play will be implemented into the game when the Xbox and Switch versions are released later this year.
Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout is available now for PC and PlayStation 4. The game will come to Xbox and the Nintendo Switch later this year.
