A new video released by Square Enix is showing off a comparison between the gameplay for Final Fantasy 7 Remake on Switch 2 and other platforms. The beloved RPG served as one of the biggest third-party games announced to be receiving a port to the newest Nintendo platform, adding some new features like "Streamlined Mode" for players more focused on the story. Final Fantasy 7 Remake's Switch 2 version will even include some exclusive perks for pre-orders, with digital pre-orders getting the original Final Fantasy 7 for a limited time. The Switch 2's performance has served as one of the biggest questions for many big-name ports from other consoles early on. The highly-anticipated Switch 2 port of Elden Ring was reportedly experiencing some severe issues with its early versions, dropping as low as 15 FPS in demos featured at this year's Gamescom. Square Enix has already spoken previously about Final Fantasy 7 Remake's performance on Switch 2, confirming that the game will run at 30 FPS on the Nintendo platform.
