Fans Rejoice As Overwatch 2's Fan-Made Skin Contest Winner Isn't Who They Expected

A few weeks ago, the official CN side of Overwatch 2 hosted a fan-made skin contest, with all winning works having the chance to be added to the game sometime in the future. Being hosted under the theme 'What if the Omnic crisis never happened', the recently announced winners showed off a new side of some familiar characters, alongside a few surprising contestants.

With the contest results being reposted by accounts like OWCalvalry on X, plenty of fans were in shock that Rammatra had somehow managed to win the contest by a landslide, with Wuyang, Kiriko, Juno, and Moira following behind. While there was some disappointment from fans of other characters that their favorite hero didn't make the cut, each of the OW2 skins themselves has been praised for fantastic potential additions to the hero shooter.

While characters like Kiriko and Juno were practically expected to win any sort of skin comeptition based on their popularity in the community, Rammatra and Moira's creative designs were still able to shine thanks to their creative designs.
