Steam is testing a new feature called Personal Calendar that could make it much easier for users to find games they're interested in. The new addition to Steam is available for users to try out now.

With thousands of games launching every year, there's no shortage of options for gamers, and there are likely plenty that could appeal to them. However, this can also have some drawbacks, as the sheer quantity can be difficult to navigate. This new tool from Steam could help to alleviate some of the problems.

Steam has now revealed the Personal Calendar feature, which is currently a Steam Labs experiment. This calendar is special, as it contains only game releases that Steam thinks the player would be interested in. The platform looks at the games that the player has spent the most time on and builds recommendations based on that data, rather than trying to incorporate every game and demo the player has ever played, and the system refreshes its data daily to ensure relevant recommendations. The calendar is designed to not only show upcoming game releases, but those that have recently launched, which could help players to avoid missing any games.
