Xbox Game Pass Adds 2 Day-One Games That Could Hardly Be More Different

Xbox Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass have added PowerWash Simulator 2 and Bounty Star to their content catalogs. The two day-one titles that could hardly be more different from each other mark the 61st and 62nd new additions to Xbox Game Pass in October 2025.

Developed by Mesa, Arizona-based DINOGOD, Bounty Star is a genre hybrid that combines third-person mech action with robust robot customization, base building, and even farming. Players assume the role of a veteran mech pilot who becomes a bounty hunter while simultaneously expanding her homestead. Conversely, PowerWash Simulator 2 is a title with a more self-explanatory name, and one that expands on FuturLab's 2022 hit in nearly every way. Still played from a first-person perspective, PWS2 promises an even greater variety of locations to visit, things to clean, and tools to clean them with, among other novelties.

While the two titles have little in common, they both launched as day-one Xbox Game Pass releases on October 23. Bounty Star debuted at 8am ET, whereas PowerWash Simulator 2 followed suit an hour later. They are the 183rd and 184th new additions to the service in 2025. Moonlighter...
