Assassin's Creed Shadows is coming to Nintendo Switch 2 on December 4. Ubisoft revealed the release date today in a 55-second overview video that should provide a decent gist as to what players can expect in terms of visuals, and a bit less of an idea about performance. For my money, it looks pretty decent.
The game will launch at $59.99, but you can grab the Premium Edition for $99.99, if you so desire. It includes 'Claws of Awaji' (which you won't be able to play for a bit) and the Sekiryu Dual Pack. Given that Star Wars Outlaws, another AAA Ubisoft release, got its Gold Edition on to Switch 2 (and did so fairly well, at that) for $59.99 USD, this seems relatively comparable, given that "Gold Edition" includes that game's season pass DLC.
