This release date had already been leaked by an industry insider earlier in the year, but now a Battlefield 6 data miner has uncovered evidence via the EA Play app that references a mysterious content drop for next week.
Season 1 of Battlefield 6 is set to go live next week, and while there has been no official word on a Battle Royale mode dropping with the patch, EA and DICE have revealed tons of information about the shooter's new map, mode, weapons, and more. The season will be split into three major content updates, with the first set to arrive on October 28. The second, which will include another map for players to jump into, will then arrive on November 18, followed by the final major update of the season on December 9.
