Kenny Sun and friends' brick-breaking smash hit Ball x Pit has been set to receive a dedicated Nintendo Switch 2 version, but was previously without an exact date. The game is already playable on the system via backward compatibility, but now Switch 2 owners won't have to wait long to receive a free update.
Ball x Pit's Nintendo Switch 2 version will release on October 28, 2025, just four days after its launch date was announced today. A short teaser trailer was released by the official Ball x Pit Bluesky account, and while details are scarce, a free update for Nintendo Switch owners has been promised. It's currently unclear if the Switch 2 version will be an update to the existing Switch client on the successor system, or if it will require a separate download for the game.
