The long-rumored Fortnite x Simpsons crossover has been officially confirmed, along with a live event on November 1 that will presumably kick the new mini-season off in style. Fortnite has had countless crossovers over the last seven years, encompassing all corners of the pop-culture world, from Star Wars and Marvel to Dragon Ball Z and Doja Cat, but this Simpsons collaboration has been anticipated for years.
Fortnite's very first crossover occurred in May 2018, coinciding with the release of Avengers: Infinity War. Since then, a plethora of movies, TV shows, animes, musical artists, and fellow video games have been given a chance to shine in Fortnite's virtual world, most often as a selection of paid skins. But every so often, Fortnite will let one franchise take and hold the spotlight for a little longer, and that seems to be the case with Fortnite's upcoming Simpsons collaboration.
The official Simpsons X account has just posted a short 10-second teaser trailer showing the iconic aliens Kang and Kodos flying above a decimated cartoon battlefield, blasting Fortnite's Fishstick with laser beams, and tractor-beaming Simpson-ified versions of Jonesy and Hope up into their flying saucer.
