ARC Raiders and The Finals Studio Already Working on Two More Games

Embark Studios, the developer behind The Finals and the upcoming third-person extraction shooter ARC Raiders, has revealed it currently has two new games in the conceptual phase of development, with one having more "edge" to it and the other being more conventional. Assuming both come to fruition, they are likely still many years away from being revealed, as Embark is currently gearing up to launch ARC Raiders for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC on October 30.

After leaving EA in 2018, Patrick Soderlund founded Embark Studios alongside numerous other DICE veterans. The studio would then release The Finals in 2023, a free-to-play first-person shooter featuring destructible environments and pitting teams against each other in a game-show-style arena to see who comes out on top. While The Finals debuted to big player count numbers, reviews were mixed at launch. It has since achieved a positive review rating on Steam and has continued to receive regular content updates for the last two years.
