Fortnite has officially revealed a major horror crossover coming to the game sometime next year, with the battle royale teaming up with the upcoming Resident Evil Requiem. Fortnitemares has brought everything from Friday the 13th to Scooby-Doo into Fortnite throughout the course of the event, with more than 20 skins added to the game. Now, Fortnite is hinting at another collaboration next year with a beloved horror video game franchise.

Fortnite has teamed up with Capcom's most iconic horror franchise in the past, with multiple Resident Evil skins added to the battle royale. Fortnite's "S.T.A.R.S." set focused around the original pair of playable Resident Evil protagonists, bringing new skins to the game based on Chris Redfield and Jill Valentine. Fortnite would also later add both Leon Kennedy and Claire Redfield to the battle royale in 2023, likely as a tie-in for the release of the remake of Resident Evil 4. Fortnite is now teasing even more Resident Evil skins coming in 2026.
