EA has announced one of The Sims 4's biggest updates, set to arrive on November 4 with more than 150 bug fixes and several free additions to the base game. The upcoming patch is part of the developer's ongoing Quality of Life Roadmap, which aims to address issues that players have reported on forums and social channels. According to EA, as stated on the upcoming "Laundry List" patch notes, its forum bug pages saw a 148% jump in views and 903% surge in votes after the roadmap was revealed, directly influencing which improvements made it into this particular list of fixes.
