A reliable Call of Duty insider has claimed that developers working on the game see Xbox's recent Game Pass price hike as an overall "positive".

As we're all painfully aware of, Xbox hasn't exactly had the best couple of years. Not only has it suffered several mass layoffs and game cancellations, but Xbox's strategy as a whole has been doubted as it moves away from being a first-party publisher. Arguably the final nail in the coffin for some Xbox users, though, was the recent Game Pass price hike.

For a while, Xbox's ace up its sleeve has been how affordable and easy to use Game Pass has been, but that changed when Xbox significantly raised the price and justified it by adding a bunch of things no one asked for. Although most Xbox fans have been justifiably upset about the whole situation, that's apparently not a feeling that's shared by Call of Duty developers.
