It’s been a busy day for Nintendo fans like myself! The Nintendo Switch 2 is doing record-breaking sales, Donkey Kong Bananza sold well, and we’re days away from Hyrule Warriors Age of Imprisonment dropping. In the midst of all of this, it’s fair that you might have forgotten that we’re just ONE MONTH AWAY from finally getting our hands on Metroid Prime 4 Beyond. Yes, the game that was announced in 2017 is about to be released in the last month of 2025. Yet, based on a new trailer that Nintendo has dropped, we have much to look forward to.
As you’ll see below, we get incredible glimpses into what is going on in the new world that Samus Aran accidentally finds herself in, and the various ways that Retro Studios is “upping the stakes” to make it feel like a totally new adventure. The trailer highlights numerous areas that Samus will work her way through, including rain and snow-filled spaces. Plus, she’ll have lots of enemies to fight and terrain to work around with her new psychic abilities.
