Nintendo released a new mobile for Android and IOS devices this week, that allows you to access the Nintendo store. While the app does include the entirety of the Switch and Switch 2 eShop, you can’t actually buy games directly in the app.
When you click on a game page in the app, you’re able to view the description, videos, and screenshots. But if you want additional information or you want to purchase the game, the app will redirect you to the game page on the Nintendo website. This might seem counterintuitive to some because it’s more efficient to directly access the eShop on your console or the website, but the app does have a few extra features.
The biggest feature is that you can view your entire play history. Gone are the days of clicking on your profile on your console and seeing a rough estimate of what you played and when. The app will show you everything, and in way more detail than you need. It won’t just show you your recent games and total hours, you can now see your full history for every single game.
Click on a game and you can see a detailed log...
